- Partitur Johann Georg Ebeling, 1637 in Lüneburg geboren, wird bisher allein als Amtsnachfolger von Johann Crüger (15981662) als Lehrer am Gymnasium zum Grauen Kloster und Nikolaikantor in Berlin wahrgenommen, wo er u.a. mit Paul Gerhardt (16071676) zusammenarbeitete. 1668 wurde Ebeling als Kantor an der Schloss- und der Marienkirche sowie am neugegründeten Gymnasium Carolinum in Stettin eingeführt. Im lutherischen Vorpommern konnte er zwar die konfessionellen Auseinandersetzungen, wie sie in Kurbrandenburg herrschten, hinter sich lassen
- politisch unruhige Zeiten standen ihm aber auch unter der schwedischen Herrschaft bevor. Schon 1676 starb er in Stettin. Neben seiner berühmten Ausgabe der Lieder von Paul Gerhardt (Geistliche Andachten, 1666/67) hat Ebeling nur wenige, bislang kaum bekannte Kompositionen für zwei bis sechs Singstimmen und Instrumente hinterlassen. Die hier vorgestellten Werke sind für Bestattungen adliger Damen in Berlin und Lübbenau und für einen mutmaßlich weltlichen Anlass in Stettin entstanden.

- This current edition of Hélène Covattis Melodies (Athens 1910
- Paris 2005) was produced using manuscripts found in the home of her daughter, the pianist Thérèse Dussaut. No date of composition can be found on these documents, but there exists a concert poster from 1938 on which the Greek mezzo-soprano Spéranza Calo-Séailles included various Covatti melodies in her programme. These melodies were also performed on French national radio by another Greek artist, the soprano Elen Dosia, star of the Opéra National de Paris.|This collection will allow the public to finally discover the vocal music of Hélène Covatti, hitherto unpublished, and reveal the work of a greatly talented woman. A collection of eight contrasting melodies, with the female figure always in the spotlight.

- Ophélias bouquet, Marine and Saadid Roses, with texts by Alfred de Musset, Sully Prudhomme and Marceline Desbordes-Valmore.
- They are close to Romances (version of Daphne for instruments) and the titles in Romances do allude to the nymph Daphne: Sweet Incantation, At Sea, and Rose Laurel, to which is appended a 4th piece: Romance (Helene Covatti-Dussauts opus 1, for violin and piano).
- Note: as for the set entitled Apollo, it contains the instrumental version (violin piano) of the four Greek melodies
